In an official release of results from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) today, 9 Barangays of the Municipality of Carrascal were recognized as NATIONAL PASSERS of the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB).
Out of 42,300 Barangays in the entire country, only 3,283 were declared as passers, which is equivalent to 7.76% national passing rate. Said results further revealed that the Municipality of Carrascal is one of the municipalities with the highest number of Barangay Passers both in the Province of Surigao del Sur and Caraga Region.
This milestone reflects the collective dedication of the various members of our community, our local leaders, the Punong Barangays and councils thru Liga ng mga Barangay President, Hon Carmelita V. Correos, MLGOO Merrill B. Espenido and the Local Unit of Carrascal headed by Hon. Vicente H. Pimentel III. Our salute and commendation for their unwavering commitment to quality public service grounded in excellence, accountability, and transparency.
